What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact and Trial Forms

If you contact us using the form on our website, any information entered will be sent directly via email. The information is not stored online. We will use the supplied information to contact you regarding your query.

If you sign up for a trial for our products on this site we will collect name, email and organisation. We may use this information to contact you regarding your trial.

Live Chat

We utilise a Live Chat service on our website provided by https://tawk.to in order to give the best user experience for sales and support purposes. We will only require your name so that we can address you correctly. If you enter your email address to receive a transcript of the chat log, that will also be recorded. We will not track or record your IP address. We will require your explicit consent before you can use this service.
