Answer Slides are nested slides that can only possible to create under Question Slides.

Their purpose is to explain the answer of the question they are nested under, and are shown at the presenter’s discretion – for example if they notice that the participants have scored particularly low on that particular question.

To set up an answer slide:

  1. First, create a question slide as previously documented.
  2. At the bottom left of the OKTOPUS application, beside the navigation buttons, you will now see an “+” icon. Select this to create your first answer slide.
  3. In the sidebar, you will now notice that you have a new slide, nested underneath your question slide.
  4. You can now populate this slide with any content that you would like to appear for the participants if you choose to navigate to it. For example, you might like to add the correct answer to this slide along with a prompt for discussion.
  5. You can add as many answer slides as you wish – keep pressing the “+” icon along the bottom. For instance, you might want to break down the explanation of how the answer was achieved or derived over several more slides.

Note: Answer Slides are not automatically navigated to, when using the main navigation buttons. Answer Slides are also not counted in the total number of slides. To navigate to an Answer Slide when in a presentation, you must click or tap the Q / A /A buttons along the bottom.
